Professional Development

Understanding people come from various backgrounds and may be influenced by different experiences, our focus on professional development (“PD”) aims to breakdown barriers and implicit biases. Further, given the vast world of disabilities, appropriate language and etiquette remains essential. We customize our PD workshops to the schools’ current needs and philosophy. PD topics could include:

  • Disability Awareness & Ableism Overview
  • Understanding Universal Design
  • Complexity of Identity: Intersectionality of Disability and other DEI verticals
  • Best Practices on Disability Inclusivity in the Classroom and Beyond
